NOTICE TO BIDDERS

TOWN OF ARGYLE

PROJECT:  C TAYLOR RD. AND E. HICKORY HILL RD. PAVING IMPROVEMENTS

The Town is seeking competitive sealed bids. The Town will award this contract to the Bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the municipality.  The Town will receive Competitive Sealed Bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of C Taylor Rd. and E. Hickory Hill Rd. Paving Improvements.  Bids may be delivered to the Town of Argyle at 308 Denton Street, Argyle, TX 76226, or mailed to Town of Argyle, PO Box 609, Argyle, TX 76226 until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received later than the specified time and date will be returned to the bidder unopened.  The bids will then be officially reviewed and awarded by the Town Council as soon as possible thereafter.

The improvements under this contract include the following approximate quantities:

31,500 SY of 8" Lime-Treated Subgrade

29,000 SY of 5" Type B HMAC Pavement

29,000 SY of 3" Type D HMAC Pavement

Contract Documents (including Plans and Special Contract Documents) have been prepared for this project and may only be obtained electronically via Civcast: https://www.civcastusa.com/

Specifications for Public Works Construction (Fifth Edition including all current amendments), as published by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), also comprise a part of the Contract Documents for this project and may be purchased at the offices of NCTCOG in Arlington, Texas.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. A Bid security is required in accordance with the Special Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date bids are opened.
