KAB plans garden project at Fire Station

Keep Argyle Beautiful (KAB) recently announced a partnership with Denton County Emergency Services District No. 1 to complete a garden project at Fire Station 511 in Argyle.

Organization officials say the goal of the project is to provide beautification, education, and conservation to the fire station, which is the site of many community events. The station is also the location of many remnants of the Eastern Cross Timbers Forest.

KAB members will be joined by Christian Cockrell, a Keep Texas Beautiful Youth Ambassador, and other local organizations to add native plants to the landscape, as well as restore a native prairie, and create a meadow for the fire station and the community.

The project is open to all members of the community. For more information contact KAB at info@keepargylebeautiful.com.
