[ARCHIVED] Argyle Arbor Day events planned for Nov. 4 at Town Hall

The Town of Argyle, a certified Tree City USA, will celebrate Arbor Day with activities on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Argyle Town Hall. 


Local certified arborists Treenewal and representatives from Keep Argyle Beautiful will join Mayor Rick Bradford for coffee, donuts and a free tree distribution. Representatives from Treenewal will also assist with planting best practices and be available to answer questions. 


The event will have a drive-through option for residents who just want to pick up trees. 


Argyle residents can register online to select a drive through time slot and select one of the following free trees: 


• Tuscarora Crape Myrtle
• Basham’s Party Pink Crape Myrtle
• Chinese Pistache
• Texas Red Oak
• White Oak
