Nov. 4, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Argyle Town Hall, 308 Denton St.
The Town of Argyle is proud to be a certified Tree City USA and we are looking forward to celebrating Arbor Day with our residents. Plan to join local certified arborists Treenewal, representatives from Keep Argyle Beautiful, and Mayor Rick Bradford for coffee, doughnuts and a free tree. Treenewal will also assist with planting best practices and be available to answer your questions. The event will have a drive-through option for those for residents who just want to pick up trees.
Argyle residents can register online to select a drive through time slot as well as pick one of the following free trees:
- Tuscarora Crape Myrtle
- Basham’s Party Pink Crape Myrtle
- Chinese Pistache
- Texas Red Oak
- White Oak
Argyle's rural, small-town charm is anchored in our location on the western edge of the Cross Timbers Forest. Approximately 30% of the town's 11 square miles is under tree canopy which provides 10 thousand tons of oxygen to the community each year, energy savings and carbon sequestration all while removing pollution from the air.
