    Three joint public hearings will be conducted by the Town Council and Planning & Zoning Commission on Tuesday, August 26th at 6:00 pm.  The Town Council will conduct a fourth, separate hearing, on August 26th as well.  Meeting agendas will be posted here by Thursday, August 21st.

    Public Hearings on Tax Rate

    The Council will hold a public hearings on the proposed tax rate on Tuesday, August 26th and Tuesday, September 9th.  The tax rate will not be adopted until the September 23rd Council meeting.

    Tax Rate Notice & Proposed Budget

    A tax rate of $0.397500 per $100 valuation has been proposed by the governing body of TOWN OF ARGYLE.  This rate exceeds the lower of the effective or rollback tax rate, and state law requires that two public hearings be held by the governing body before adopting the proposed tax rate.

    Argyle PD to offer "P2C" portal

    The Argyle Police Department is now offering “Police-To-Citizen” (P2C), an Internet portal that provides a quick and convenient way for the public to access information and daily activities at the Police Department.  The Denton County Sheriff’s Office, information-sharing partners with the Argyle Police Department, are also providing access to their records through P2C.
     
    Citizens can view bulletins of events as they happen, register for security checks of their homes or business, view photos of missing persons, and watch slide shows of Denton County’s “Sex Offenders” and “Recent Arrests”.
