Argyle Emergency Declaration No. 2020-D (Amended)
In response to the public health emergency declaration regarding COVID-19, the Town of Argyle will be making changes to our operations and facilities.
Argyle Town Hall and Municipal Court are now open to the public during regular business hours.
All Town Hall and Municipal Court business is encouraged to be conducted online, by email, or by phone. The town will continue to evaluate town operations and public health recommendations and will communicate changes to these closures through the town website and town social media pages.
Municipal Court
Defendants may go online to make payments here. Defendants may also email court personnel for questions at court@argyletx.com or call the court at 940-464-7273.
Development - Permits
Individuals and businesses may email permit applications and supporting documents to permits@argyletx.com.
UPDATE: All non-essential home owner occupied inspection requests, such as Water Heater Replacements and HVAC Replacements, be temporarily postponed. The Town’s third-party inspectors will complete every back log of these inspections once the current COVID-19 situation reflects improvement.
Development – Planning
Development planning and project questions can be directed to dhawkins@argyletx.com, or large documents may be sent through Dropbox. A physical dropbox is also available outside the front doors of Town Hall.
Town Council Meetings
Meetings of the Argyle Town Council, as well as city boards and commissions, will continue as scheduled, but attendance will be limited. As a reminder, Town Council meetings are live-streamed and may be viewed by the public in the convenience and safety of their own home.
Special Events
Town sponsored special events will be canceled until further notice; including the April 4, Easter Egg Hunt and April 18, Annual Clean-Up Day.
Argyle Police Department
Remains open at this time, with steps taken to mitigate person-to-person exposure. Read the Argyle Police Department COVID-19 response protocol here.
